“I took a summer course in the English Department and I remember attending a Shakespeare class taught by Carolyn Greenberg in 1979. There was a lot of great class participation and discussion and impromptu skits but the reason I remember it most fondly is because I met my future husband there! After managing to sit next to him through three room changes, bumping elbows (he’s a southpaw) in each class and picnicking in Point Pleasant Park, by the end of the summer our future was clear. We raise a toast to Shakespeare every spring!”
